Before it was a lobby, this space was a frozen cold storage facility that was defrosted (for 12 days!) and turned into the Google Chicago headquarters. We designed a completely custom acrylic fixture based on “before” images of the space encased in ice, that honors the strange history and beauty of the while also giving a sly nod to the local climate of “Chiberia.”
