Project Details Located adjacent to the University of Michigan campus, the DLR Group-designed Vanguard Hotel is a nod to the university’s local legacy and storied culture. Developed by Robert Finvarb Companies and Milford Singer & Company, the property’s concept is rooted in university founder James Burrill’s quest to create the “uncommon school for the uncommon man”.
