New Highmark Stadium – Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bill’s new Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, NY, is officially open for game day. Designed by Populous, the $2.1 billion dollar, open-air facility features over 60,000 seats and a 360-degree canopy that covers around 65% of the seats to block the infamous wind and snow.

KGM Architectural Lighting, based out of NY, spearheaded the sleek lighting design at the stadium. A longtime collaborative partner of ours, we worked together to create the ultimate showstopper, built for the Bills Mafia. Located in the premiere club level of M&T Bank Lounge, our large-scale lighting sculpture represents the Bills’ logo in an abstract and captivating configuration.

Over 83′ in length and 10′ in height, the piece is 1/4 the length of the field! It features 1,900 custom, digitally printed panels in the team’s colors with a dynamic red light box in the center representing the Buffalo “charge”. Additional light output includes 236 LED bi-pins suspended throughout. Weighing 5,000 pounds, it’s engineered to look weightless in the space.
