Project Details Din Tai Fung, the hottest new Taiwanese restaurant chain, is known for plating as many as 20,000 of its iconic soup dumplings every Saturday (in NYC’s Times Square alone!). This craze is attributed to their successful playbook: large spaces, rapid service and an iconic menu. On the west coast, their Irvine, California location is within the bustling Irvine Spectrum Center mall. Although the soup dumplings are the star of the show, we are thrilled to be a part of their gorgeous interior with our “Arboreal” light sculptures suspended centrally in the space. Din Tai Fung, the hottest new Taiwanese restaurant chain, is known for plating as many as 20,000 of its iconic soup dumplings every Saturday (in NYC’s Times Square alone!). This craze is attributed to their successful playbook: large spaces, rapid service and an iconic menu.
On the west coast, their Irvine, California location is within the bustling Irvine Spectrum Center mall. Although the soup dumplings are the star of the show, we are thrilled to be a part of their gorgeous interior with our “Arboreal” light sculptures suspended centrally in the space. Both installations are over 22′ long and built from anodized aluminum in a highly reflective gold and silver finish. LED bi-pins are strategically placed to add the perfect touch of sparkle that can’t be missed. The organic nature of the chandeliers add a softness to the modern architectural elements and wood slat ceiling details. For visitors of this experience – don’t forget to look up!
