To create this bright and joyful installation for the cafe of this confidential tech client, Nico created 43 cast butterflies and bees in translucent polymer rubber inspired by historic gardens in the Boston and Cambridge area. YGD worked with Niho to provide the horseshoe-shaped structure, along with 427 cut acrylic shapes placed between the polymer elements that Niho modeled. This tech company’s cafe boasts a beautiful collaborative Yellow Goat Design sculpture made with Artist Niho Kozuru, commissioned by the Client’s Project Executive and RODE Architects. To create this bright and joyful installation for the cafe of this confidential tech client, Nico created 43 cast butterflies and bees in translucent polymer rubber inspired by historic gardens in the Boston and Cambridge area. YGD worked with Niho to provide the horseshoe-shaped structure, along with 427 cut acrylic shapes placed between the polymer elements that Niho modeled. At 21 feet long, the piece covers a bar area below that reflects the curved shape and acts as a central waypoint.
