As fierce in its construction and conception as an explosive device, Bombe unleashes light at it’s most dramatic, volatile and dangerous. Inspired by a solar flare, this pendent light aims to capture an explosion at the blast point. To radiate this intensity, red Acrylic fins are repeated around the central globe to exacerbate the burst effect. Each fin is laser-cut to form a triangular edge which stretches out from the core like heat-waves. The centrally mounted globe glows white and filtered red light across surfaces. This pendant lighting series should be hung as a statement piece in contemporary hotels, casino foyers and multilevel retail spaces where it can capture innocent bystanders in an eruption of bright light.
