The peeled layers of a fruit are recreated in this fantastic Metallic spiral shape, which curves downward at a slightly lopsided angle. Velo is built up of individually curved and bright polished aluminum panels, each attached to its neighbor with a lap joint and machined bolts. The piece is then completed with vertically suspended aluminum rods from which tiny LED bi-pins hang like glowing pinpricks, peeking out through the space between the layers. Velo’s marvelously crafted industrial look can be custom-sized to individual interior requirements.
