Our designers outdid themselves with the Boab Tree, inspired by the otherworldly staple of the Australian outback. A plywood creation with carved out holes and cave-like entrances, there is ample interior space to make this a second home for toddlers, who can gather within as they would in a magnificent outdoor treehouse (minus the steep heights—no safety issues here!). A riot of plywood sticks at the top mimic the branches of the Boab, their sharp angles providing a prickly and playful exclamation point to this truly memorable design.
