A Confronting yet beautiful interior lighting design, Apples is a custom pendant light that emulates the death of a star upon the precipice of combustion. In that moment of catastrophic and sudden destruction emerges a fizzling bright new star. We’ve tried to capture this in the contemporary lighting design of Apples. Lit from the core by LEDs attached to a central sphere, light is bounced up the stem of hollow aluminium tubes which are fitted with Glass balls at the ends. This results in a brilliant white light that radiates across surfaces. An example of modern pendant lighting at its most brilliant, Apples would feel at home as a signature restaurant, retail, and casino lighting fixture.
